Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success. – Henry Ford
GUSD Wellness PolicyA new Wellness Policy was adopted by our School Board and made effective July 1, 2006. As a result, any foods with high sugar content are no longer permissible at school. The typical cupcakes parents often brought to school, in celebration of their children's birthday, will no longer be allowed. Instead, a parent may bring a healthy snack such as fruit or granola bars. Please contact the district office with further questions (408) 847-2700. |
