Did you sense that disturbance in the Force? Are your Padawans ready for the challenge? The 2018 walk-a-thon is getting ready for the jump to hyperspace on Friday, May 25. This year’s event is going Jedi: "May the Fun Be With You Walk-a-thon."

Our walk-a-thon is a HUGE deal at our school and for our kids. Like, wookie HUGE. Or AT-AT HUGE. Or “That’s-no-moon!” HUGE. It's cosmic event that includes the whole school, our galactic staff and a rebel alliance of volunteers.

DETAILS: Flyers and pledge sheets have started going home with your students. If you haven't seen them, we have you covered. Download your copies below:

You can also request a set by emailing elroblehsc@gmail.com or picking up copies in the front office.

PLEDGES: EXTENDED DEADLINE is 4 p.m. Monday, May 21. Online donations are available again this year. Please see the pledge sheet for instructions. Email us at elroblehsc@gmail.com if you have any questions! It's a super easy and convenient way to collect pledges, even for those in the far reaches of the universe. No Jedi mind tricks required, we swear. Download a pledge form and information about online donations

To recap:

✔ WALK-A-THON: Friday, May 25

This event helps fund a big chunk of the cool stuff at El Roble — field trips, classroom supplies and more. We appreciate your help in making this event a success!

Walk, Ride, Bike to School

We're encouraging our school community to leave the car at home and walk, bike or roll to school. Our Walk, Bike, Roll event is expanding to every Wednesday.

If you're on a bike, catch a bike train to school. What's a bike train? It’s a group bike ride to school, led by experienced parents and volunteers.
